CNA Classes in Wyoming

In the state of Wyoming, those seeking to become a certified nurse assistant must complete a recommended coursework and accredited training program in the field. The cost of this coursework can vary depending on who is providing the training and where the training will be held.

Like any level of higher education training, there is the ability for individuals to set the prices of the training as a college would, however, if an individual can find a nursing home or other facility that needs employees, they may find that they will pay for the schooling for them. The coursework must include classes in the basics of nursing as well as last a total of seventy-five hours in order to be considered sufficient. It also must be accredited and recognized by the state of Wyoming.

Upon completion, a student will then sit for a two part exam. The first part of the exam will be a written portion, usually of multiple choice questions. The second will be a hands-on assessment by an accredited instructor that will look to see the practical knowledge that the student has gained. The student, if failing either portion, must take the test again up to a max of three times before having to do all coursework over again.
